Our journey took us through the Dhofar region of southern Oman during the winter dry season, a time when the landscape is defined by crisp light and dramatic geological textures. Traveling through this territory reveals stark environmental transitions—where the quiet, vast dunes of the desert border abruptly meet the rugged limestone cliffs of the Dhofar Mountains, which then plunge directly into the deep blue of the Arabian Sea.
